Volunteers required at our skating sessions

As a not for profit group we rely on volunteers, both skartes and others. For many, it is a great way to skate for free or learn new skills as part of a friendly team.  We do not expect you to make every week and we have somehelpers who do most weeks and others just help when they have the time. Volunteering can be used for Duke of Edinburgh Awards Scheme.  Need more information?  The best thing is to call in to see a session.  You and a friend can skate for free and we can even lend you skates. Or contact Ian  07879 402887 call or text.  info@skatenorfolk.co.uk  Message via Facebook  www.facebook.com/skatenorfolk

Breckland Leisure Thetford Fri 4.10pm

Closed until we are told we can reopen after lockdown

Breckland Leisure Centre on Croxton Road is the same building as Waterworld.  We use the Main Sports Hall, this large hall has a good floor for skating.  We have held sessions here for over 6 years and have a wide range of skating abilities. We start with the whole hall used as a track for warm-up and the middle for going under the pole.  As the session develops we divide the hall into spaces games and/or training leave space for those that wish to do their own thing.

At about 5 we normally start fun Hockey using EuroHoc equipment.

There is free parking at the rear of the centre.

City College Norwich Sat 4pm

Closed until we are told we can reopen after lockdown

We have been running our Fun Family Fitness sessions here for over 6 years.  Main Sports Hall, this large hall but floor is slower for adults than at other locations.  Most children never seem to notice, and it is good for those learning.  We start with the whole hall used as a track for warm-up and the middle is soon used for going under the pole.

As the session develops we divide the hall into spaces games and/or training leave space for those that wish to do their own thing.

There is free parking but only in the Students Car Park. Use the entrance nearest to the Ring Road (3rd from City Centre).
